ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We carried out a number of building tasks for Matt and Louise. We first popped round to measure the wall to be removed, look at existing structure, recommend a structural engineer, we measured up for bricking in door.

We started the work on a Saturday Morning in April 2016 and it was all complete by Tuesday, ensuring minimum inturruption to the working kitchen.

We knocked through the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room. We supported the structure. We knocked out the brick built larder to give more space in the kitchen and removed and bricked up the back door as only one set of French doors is now needed.

We installed the steel ‘I’ beam, plastered the ceilings, fitted new doors and windows and tidied up after ourselves!
